NIJ III Lightweight Tactical Rifle Plate Ref: 19
The NIJ Level III Multi-Hit Tactical, anti Rifle Plate is the lightest plate in the world against rifle threats of up to 7.62 X 51mm FMJ NATO BALL from military machine guns.
This plate will also stop AK47, 7.62 X 39mm, AK74, 5.45 X 40mm with mild steel core and all lower assault / hunting rifles, including ALL handgun projectiles.
Ergonomically designed and features a shrapnel / ricochet stopper construction with mould-edge construction.
The main difference between Level III plates and Level IV plates is that Level IV plates are designed to withstand Steel Core or Armour Piercing (AP) ammunition.
Our NIJ Level III Plate is designed to stop at least 12 rounds from High-velocity military assault rifles such as the M-16 and the AK-47, with low back face deformation (trauma), provided no solid steel penetrator or armour piercing ammo is used.
